NOTICE: Starting 16th round- we move to 3 hour windows.
I've been so impressed with the recent flurry of picks- good job to all involved! Rounds 16-20 is a 3 hour window pick from 7AM to 9PM Pacific. Heads up.

Does anybody else feel like this is going REALLY fast this year? We've been at it for 24 days and we're practically through 16 rounds, and now we're moving down to three hour windows? It just seems a little unnecessary to me. Two hours is going to like sprinting to the finish of what was supposed to be a nice, long walk. Anybody else feeling this way?Scrantonicity wrote:I've been so impressed with the recent flurry of picks- good job to all involved! Rounds 16-20 is a 3 hour window pick from 7AM to 9PM Pacific. I fee like its the perfect pace. Not too fast but not too slow. It's exciting when you see multiple picks going off in a few hours time, rather than waiting half a day to have one pick happen. Just my opinion.
( although I'd have to say this draft is flying by for me. I'm about to select my 23 rd player )

I agree with Amato's opinion suggesting this is the perfect pace. I would be open to keeping the 3 hour window beyond round 20, if everyone else is in favor. Maybe just as a trial, we do 2 hour windows in rounds 26 & 27?

I'd be in favor of keeping it at 3 for the remainder of the draft. The last few rounds could be a shitshow with everyone passing everyone else. But then again, I never understood the need to rush through something that we baseball nerds supposedly enjoy. So we can sit at home and rosterbate for 2 months?Scrantonicity wrote:I agree with Amato's opinion suggesting this is the perfect pace. Re: NOTICE: Starting 16th round- we move to 3 hour windows.
After I pick at 17.2 I dont have another pick until the 25th round. So id like to propose we change it to 20 minute windows.
Just kidding, 3 hours is a fair pace.

Three hour windows are good. It'd be nice if this was ending right around the start of time when yahoo opens which isn't until mid February

Unless I receive an objection, we'll finish out the draft with the three hour windows.

Is the clock working correctly on here? The last couple picks seem to have taken place in the future when I checked.
EDIT: nevermind. Once I logged in the correct times were displayed.
