I say lets stop after 25 rounds

As i mentioned in earlier posts, I dont think we should try to endure 5 more round of drafting after 500 players are off the board. it is inevitable that the picks that are made will be littered with guys already taken. and without a list of who is left available, it will be quite difficult to come up with your picks, which will result in a slow down of drafting and a lack of interest. Plus it will be alot easier for data entry purposes (20% less to input)

I say we stop after 25 rounds and fill in the rest of our roster through adds once yahoo is up an d running. If we set the waiver priority in the order that the 26th round would go, it would be equitable and alot faster process, without having to wait days between picks. Yahoo should be putting up the 2010 Fantasy Page very soone (usually it is up and running in the second week of feb). The quality of player sthat is left in Round 22 is pretty low, and will get worse after the next 50 picks. Lets end this thing in the fantasy site (which means we can actually view our teams in the Yahoo page quicker)

I think this may very well come to a vote, as it's my preference to finish to round 30 here on this board. I feel a yahoo waiver rush for 20 teams and 5 rounds is going to lead to a big headache, and as far as speeding things up, easy solution- 2 hour limit on picks from round 25 on. The draft will be complete in a matter of days. Sorry to counter your suggestion Amato, but I feel like we are doing fine finishing this bad boy here...

I also would like to keep it here, in the forum. Once Yahoo opens, you declare your pick on here and pick up your player in the league as a FA (is there a way to not have this count against our transactions?). That's how we finished out last year and it worked really well, in my opinion.

Also, yes, let's kick this bitch into high gear. 2 hour limits for rounds 25-30 sounds great. Probably would need to go to a vote, though.

I'd be down to do a 2 hour limit for the final 5 rounds also. Looking back we should have probably moved to 4 hour limit for rounds 21-25...something to think about next year perhaps

You almost need MORE time not LESS time to find hidden gems at this point. I'm a fan of doing it on this site -- not sure if 2 hours is the way to go though.

I'll second drafting all 30 rounds, but with accelerated picks. Suggestion for avoiding repeat picks: go to the drafted players spreadsheet and type "Control F" to do a find and replace and type in the name of the player that you want to draft.

I'd vote to keep the final 5 rounds on this message board and move the time limit closer to 2 hours. There isn't a need to debate for hours if you want randy winn or aaron rowand. The spread sheet also has a find function that will help avoid repeat picks.

I'm new here and cool with whatever you guys do. However, if I were to put in a vote it would be to wrap it up on the message board.

Also, with days between picks it's not hard to keep a tally of guys you want and cross 'em off as they're taken. Not to mention the spreadsheet at the beginning makes it easy. Wish I'd found that about 15 rounds ago.

Granted, I'm a big dork but there are still a ton of guys out there I want.

My vote... Keep draft here 30 rounds, same time frame. We'll be done by the end of the month no problem.

I mean what's the hurry to finish? Won't get opening day here any quicker.
