League vote currently stands at 7-5 in favor of a 6-hour limit for the entire draft.

Last year on this date (my birthday), we were in the 17th round vs. this year where we are in the 20th, so we are 3 rounds ahead of last years pace not that any of us are in a hurry to finish, but I have liked our pace this year for the most part.

Frank Francisco trade to Toronto makes my Rauch pick and the Dotel pick meaningless. Damn!

My Frasor pick was betting on him getting a turn at the closer role. Got me too.

Of course he's on a major league contract. Why not call him up?

Well, there is this:
http://mlb.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd ... b&c_id=mlb
And this:
http://fantasybaseball365.com/2011-arti ... there.html
And this, which uses a fanny pack as an analogy for Kyle Farnsworth's career:
http://bleacherreport.com/articles/5724 ... -tampa-bay

So.....yeah. He isn't a lock, but he has a chance, and a chance at a closer is awesome in the 20th round.

So you got on here at 10am to have a little internet slap fight, and yet you can't be bothered to make your pick? Did you not have time to google your player's middle name or something?

I wanted to see if/who S-Man picked and I didn't have time to do a little research. I saw that Davis decided that he had to pick a fight, so I responded. Now, I suggest you get your panties out of a knot and start researching your pick.

Stockpiling KC rookies- not sure that's a great strategy, but what the heck...
He has an 89 Upper Deck? How come baseball card companies cant create any new designs the last 5 years, instead just recycling older layouts? This is one of the many reasons the industry is dying. Show me any Topps card from 52 to 92 and i can instantly identify the year by the distinct design/layout. One of my great joys as a boy was going to the liquor store in January and seeing if the new Topps cars were in yet, and the excitement of opening the new pack to ssee what they looked like. This doesnt exist anymore. Anyone know what a 2008 Topps card looks like?
