Going to pat myself on the back with grabbing Jorge Cantu with pick # 229- not a bad spot to grab a 100 RBI hitting 3B.

Yes, I am down for power hours. Especially if most of us will be in watching football this weekend.
Count me in- problem is, it will only take one person beiing unavailable that will derail something like this *fingers crossed*
I can do it.

Ok, we're getting to the point where it will be easy to pick a player that has already gone. Peeps should make sure to go to S-Man's spreadsheet and CTL-F to make sure your player hasn't gone already before posting your pick.

That said, do y'all want to put in place a policy similar to the 6 hour rule? i.e. if you pick a player that has gone already, the next guy can pick, and so on, until you post your new pick? Rather than holding up the draft until you sign back on.

I think if you make the pick and it is wrong then other people should be able to jump you. That makes everyone a little more accountable to not mess up, and it keeps everything at a good pace. I don't think Angels02 (manny?) should get Delmon Young if he wants him since Amato has picked him right after. I understand with a league like this mistakes happen, but if we grind everything to a halt and let the person rewind things get problematic.

I guess I thought this was always the policy. It's the picker's responsibility to check before he posts. This should be treated just like the expiration of the 6-hour rule: the draft resumes with the next pick, and the skipped over team submits his (revised) pick ASAP, but any player taken in the interim is off the board.

I agree with everything said here. Don't know if we need to put it to a vote or not, but I support anything that keeps things moving.

Agreed wioth all the above sentiments. There is also a useful search engine on the message board. Just search a guys name and if he has been drafted he will show up in your search.

Sorry for the delay - got a few trade offers I'm talking through. If you're open to giving me pitching, both SP or RP, I'm willing to deal.

If you are waiting on me at all I am done with making offers FYI, thanks for hearing my offers in the first place, sorry we couldnt work anything out. You should probably pick while you still have the shot at jumping that 'mis-pick', if that is in fact what everyone agreed upon? I know I wouldnt mind getting my pick in before that one guy comes back and re takes his pick.

You're not the only one, but I think I'm going to pick now regardless. Keep things moving-- we can always make trades later.

Damn, I wanted Stubbs. It was either Stubbs or McGehee. I can't wait for round 26.....

Nice pick on Stubbs, I love his upside. I was trying to trade up to get him. Bill James projects him to steal 51 bases, and dude mashed 8 bombs in less than 200 MLB atbats last year. Nice pick dude. Damn.

And Bill James projected Chris Davis to hit, like, 95 home runs last year--how'd that work out for me?

(but, yeah, I was kinda lusting after Stubbs, too.)

Stubbs will suck, but at this point almost everybody will suck, so it doesn't matter.
