Re: Discuss the draft

Fantasy wise Rollins IS the better player, and is truly the steal of the draft. Does that mean i would have drafted him over Jeter? No. My man crush on Jeter is timeless. It rivals Costanza's man crush on Tony the "Mimbo", Michael Scott's man crush on Ryan, and Donati's man crush on Swisher.

Re: Discuss the draft

Not to toot my own horn, but Jimmy Rollins at pick 34 was the steal of the draft thus far. The former NL MVP had an awful first few months of 2009, which really tainted his season numbers and obscures the fact that he turned things around to have a STELLAR second half: 59 runs, 103 hits, 15 HR, 50 R...

Re: THE 2010 DRAFT

Surprisingly, YankeeManiac selects Jimmy Rollins (and not Derek Jeter) :D ...I thought for sure Rollins would go first! :P

Re: Discuss the draft

johan at 30 and sizemore at 32 are both pretty excellent. Both were top 20 picks last year and could easily return to top 20 status in 2009 (there are still 2 other top 10 picks from last year that are floating and could return to that level in '10, and those will be great value picks also)

Thanks, and again sorry if this was discussed already. correct. it would be 8 to 8 pacific. If 11 pm is a little too late for the east...

Re: Poll: Transactions

so far we have 9 votes for 20 transactions, 4 combined votes for 50 transactions, and 3 votes for unlimited ...which could be counted towards 50, since 50 is closer to inifinity than 20 :) so as it stands we have 9 guys in favor of 20, 7 in favor of 50, with 4 voices still to be heard.... if you hav...

Re: Poll: Transactions

Should we perhaps put a deadline on this vote? I suggest that we finalize the vote tomorrow at 6pm. Just like in real elections, we shouldnt wait around until every citizen has voted. We should get this thing going soon. Now that the Christmas craziness is over, I wanna have baseball to think about ...

If the Senate Could agree to a Health Care Bill by Christmas

then we should be able to get a vote for number of transations done by Boxing Day. If you haven't voted yet, VOTE NOW. There are currently 7 votes in favor of 20 transactions (6 cast plus Dylan's vote of 10 transferred to 20). 3 more votes are needed to start this draft. Where are the Liebermans? Le...

If 4 more people vote for 20 transactions, we will have 10 (majority) and we can get this party started.
