For those of you with Netflix, remember when this name reminded you of Playoff baseball in the 90's?

Ha--I'm four episodes in, and this was one of my first thoughts.

Most unconventional 1-2 pick WBO history? There is certainly an argument for it. Trout, Harper and Goldy sitting there at pick #3 is pretty unexpected.

FYI- for those who saw it, the Donald/Amato draft pick/slotting trade has been nullified.

For those of you who were lucky enough to have missed it, totally disregard this post :)

I could see Kershaw going 1/2, was hoping to have a chance at Correa at my pick at 12. Figured Harper was a lock for 1 or 2.

Correa was the real shocker, that being said probably every guy in this league would have loved to have him. Assuming the big 3 and Kershaw would be gone by the 5th pick I was considering correa pre draft.

I'd have taken Correa with the 4th pick if he fell to me.

I thought it would be a shocker, and was part of why I looked at possibly trading down because ultimately he was who I wanted. Glad to hear that my notion of him going top 5 wasn't out of line.

Amato going with the all-aces strategy. Bold. I'd prefer it in roto rather than H2H, but I'm interested to see how it plays out through the draft.

yes, very interested to see what his offense looks like. Though I imagine there is a good possibility not all 3 of those will remain on his team.

Just out of curiosity, why is there more time to draft at the beginning when there's tons of options and less time at the end when there's fewer options?

Early picks significantly more critical to season long success IMHO.

I'd be down to go two hours per pick during daytime hours throughout. You snooze, you lose.

Two hours is extreme. I'm feel I'm one of the quickest drafters and still wouldn't go that far. While I agree with Mowery that the picks are important 6 hours seems to reinforce bad habits. Four hours through the first twenty rounds makes more sense to me. Cut two hours per pick off the first ten rounds and add 1 hour too the next ten. After twenty there's not really bad picks so shorter windows and getting skipped not as devastating.

Pretty much agree with this (though I'm cool with 6 hours for the early picks, too--why is everyone so eager to get this over with?).
