im lovin Gregerson and his 90-100 Ks, awesome ERA and WHIP and likeliness to close if (and when) the Padres trade Heath Bell. In the 16th round!

Following my draft strategy perfectly, my name is Chris and I drafted 3 players named Chris so far (Coghlan, Perez, Volstad). That is a solid fantasy strategy right?

*toot toot* I love this pick. True, he'll probably be injured a lot, but when he's healthy, he'll have Ichiro, Figgins and Guti hitting in front of him. Booyah.

I really just have a sore spot for OFers who are likely to breakdown from injury.

Brandon Inge at pick #414. If he puts up a first half like last year, that's an awesome pick.

"We think he is a player that adds versatility as a right-handed hitter with experience playing first base, designated hitter and catcher," Mariners GM Jack Zduriencik said. Garko is a former All-American at Stanford and 2003 Johnny Bench Award winner as the best college catcher. He has yet to play the position in the major leagues. Before the deal, Seattle had just one catcher coming into spring training with more than two years of major league experience -- Josh Bard, a non-roster player invited to camp.

I like the Garko pick a lot. Probably would have taken him myself this round. Could be a really solid option at C.

Here we go with tooting- Russell Branyan was offered an incentive laden contract with the Florida Marlins, where he would most likely be the starting 1B. If that comes to fruition, I just got 30+ HRs, and decent RBI #s in the 22nd round. He's obviously a flawed player who is almost guaranteed to be hitting in the .230-.240's, but still- pick #423! :)

Brandon I loved the branyan pick...kicking myself for passing on him so many times.

For my toots:

Jarrod Washburn in the 21st round is nuts, he was really really good last year until he got traded midseason. Likely to end up in Minny or Seattle again. Both pitcher friendly.

Barry Zito and his 160 K's and 10 plus wins in the 18th. He actually seemed like a new pitcher last year. Wouldn't be suprised at all to see him have an all star caliber year this year.

Cameron Maybin in the 14th

and I know it was a long time ago but Matt Kemp with the 15th and Matt Holliday with the 26th picks, c'mon.

It's incredible value if he qualifies there. Potential top 10 catcher 420 picks in. If he doesn't, it's a complete waste of a pick. Worth a gamble.

He is listed as the third 'emergency' catcher. Pray for some injuries!

Yeah. I figured the depth chart doesn't mean much two days after the move. Rob Johson had surgery on both hips and his wrist and *might* be ready for spring training. Plus, he's bad. And Josh Bard is ... Josh Bard. But sure, it could be a big waste of a pick. I liked him a lot more than the .240 guys who were going off the board before him though.

My uninformed opinion says if they don't pick up another catcher he gets the C elibility by June.
