Im loving my last 2 picks.
Last year Adams and Clippard combined for a 1.67 ERA, .82 WHIP, and 178 Ks in 161 innings (9.9 K/9). Plus they are next in line for saves on their teams. If something were to happen to Storen or Nathan either one would become a top 5 or 10 closer.
Factor in my 2 closers, and my 4 RPs had 330 Ks in 286 innings (10.4 K/9) with a cumulative ERA of 2.17 and WHIP of .89. The impact of my bullpen's dominant ERA, WHIP and K rate will substantially impact my team's place in the standings in those categories. Having 2 or 3 closers should put me in the top tier in saves also. Now I just gotta hope the Yankees can get some wins this year for my SPs.

And who had Clippard and Adams last year when they put up those awesome stat lines? Oh yeah, that would be me... May they both blow up in your face, Amato. (In other words, nice picks. I would have liked to have been able to roster them again for 2012.)

With all your posts, you obviously wanted a response from me, here it is;...
You are without a doubt the least funny and least original human being I have ever encountered, and I seriously fucking loathe you... I wish for one day you wouldnt post something so fucking stupid, and everyday you fucking fail me. I have no idea what your voice sounds like, and yet Im still somehow tired of fucking hearing it.
First off, you are right, this thread should be called Rosterbation, as my bullpen is so hot and gets me so horny that I cant help but rub out a YankeeManiac blast praising it.
Secondly, please don't kill my roto boner on the thread where I'm getting off about my players. Just when I was about to hit my fantasy climax, you guys burst in the room and make me hide under the covers. Take your arguments to another thread. This thread is reserved for publicly rubbing one out about your lineup.

In looking at our league's history, you can count on two hands how many teams have had over 90 wins in a season. With that considered, Id be hesitant to say there is a greater than 50% chance that I win 96 games, so I wont be betting on that. However, that is what I aspire to do. That is our goal. In our morning meeting, I let each pitcher know what their goal is, and I am confident that individually each pitcher has what it takes to achieve the goal this year.
I would be willing to bet that I win more than 90 games. perhaps a fun little 25 dollar bet (aka 2013 league fees?)

Ha, way to walk it back. No, you said that Sabathia/Pineda/Kuroda/Nova/Hughes/Rivera/Santos/Clippard/Adams would win at least 96 games. That was your original "forecast," and yet clearly it can't be if you say there's less than a 50% chance of it happening. Stand by your boast, Amato! Would a true Yankee fan back down? Joe DiMaggio is rolling in his grave. Lou Gehrig casts a shameful glance your way. DEREK JETER IS QUESTIONING YOUR MANHOOD.
Not 90 games, 96 games.
Not "your team," but those 9 pitchers.

Ill pass. Joe Namath guaranteed a super bowl win when they were massive underdogs, but he didn't have to go bet on it to prove his point. I'll enjoy my staff's dominance of the wins category this season without reaping the financial gains.
