Am I the only one expecting a career year out of Dotel at age 37? What, 45 saves too many to expect?

Just read that they might sign Fuentes.

But Kevin Gregg, new Baltimore closer is still out there!

That's what the 8 to 8 rule is about. Plus, I know Fusionhah and he has been really overworked recently, I think some slack should be cut.

It's not that hard to make a list of 10 players that you want each round so that you can text your pick to Amato. No slack cut.

It is also January 15th in the 14th round. We are well WELL ahead of schedule. Slack has been cut!

Totally agreed, we are flying. That said, I hope we get to my pick in the next few hours. It's almost 8p, and I'd like to make my own pick before bed. 10 players is a lot to prioritize, but I may be able to manage 4.

I can't wait till these picks get to the point of half of the teams just text Amato back "ehhhhh, just take whoever is available at 3b.".

You totally are the Vanna. But in all honesty, I only text someone to make my pick for me in a dire moment. I'm not just going to text someone a list of names and say "meh, make the right picks for me". I enjoy the slow pace.

Guilty. Steph has two big exams this week for law school and woke up from the anxiety. It just so happened to line up with a pick.... and I still can't sleep.

Interested to hear how you feel about the pick after you've had a cup of coffee or two. And wish Stephanie luck on her exams.

They don't have anyone credited for Jeremy Brown, aka "The Fat Catcher."

I wrote you a message, but that was assuming you were curious from the standpoint of a friend and a Giants fan and not a jerk trying to say "bad pick."

Figured if the best prospects are jumping off the board, then might as well get potentially the best one here.
