Winter Baseball Obsession

Hey guys,

Fun draft so far. The pace is a little behind where we were last year, but ultimately, the picks are getting made, and we'll finish around Spring Training. Smaller draft windows (4 hour windows) starting next round will move things along as well.

One of the biggest challenges, every year, is getting the $30 league fees for this league. It's far and away my least favorite part of this process, as commissioner. No one, especially myself, likes hounding his friends (real life and online) for their fees. So here's a new idea. 1/30 is pay day. All 16 teams send along their payments by that date. And on that date, you lose your privilege to draft until the payment is made. It seems harsh, I know. But it's the only incentive that I hold.

Due to last years sidebets with Brandon and Amato for this years league fee, Amato should pay Brandon Dan Buxton's league fees.
Brandon finished higher than Dan in 2014 but Dan finished higher than Amato.

I was really hoping we wouldn't have to resort to following through on this threat. Let's push it back one more week, and then we will seriously be skipping non-payers.

Is there a way to upload the rosters of teams that paid so we can rosterbate? how about whoever doesn't pay doesn't get their team uploaded into yahoo, and on 2/6 we have a supplementary draft of drafted but not paid for players? I'm only half joking:)
