Idea for finishing up the draft

I have an idea for finishing up the draft. I propose that when we finish the 26th round, we have the 27-30th rounds be by appointment or "tee time". The first tee times would begin the following AM at 7 am. The following day would look like this:

7am: Pick 27.1 Freezedawg
7:30 am : 27.2 Davis
8am: Pick 27.3 Snapman
8:30am: 27.4 Buxton
9am: 27.5 YankeeManiac
9:30am: 27.6 Josh
10am: 27.7 Mullrich
10:30am 27.8 Yankeemaniac
11am: 27.9 GStateJester
11:30am: 27.10 Nate
12pm: 27.11Sman
12:30pm: 27.12 Yankeemanaiac
1pm: 27.13 Heggos
1:30pm: 27.14 Manny
2pm: 27.15 Bisbee
2:30pm 27.16 and 28.1Clownbaby
3pm: 28.2Bisbee
3:30 pm: 28.3 Manny
4pm: 28.4 Heggos
4:30 pm: 28.5 Glen
5pm: 28.6 SMan
5:30pm: 28.7 Nate
6pm: 28.8 GStateJester
6:30pm: 28.9 Mullrich
7pm: 28.10 Mullrich
7:30pm 28.11 Josh
8pm: 28.12 Davis
8:30pm: 28. 13 Buxton
9pm: 28.14 Snapman
9:30pm: 28.15 Scrantonicity
10pm or later: 28.16 and 29.1 Freezedawg

Your tee time is essentially a 29 minute block where you can plan to log in and make your pick. If you're late, no worries, post it when you can. This allows people to know and plan for when their next pick will be without having to try to figure out if they are eligible to double or triple jump others. We get through 2 rounds in one day. We run this same schedule back the next day at 7:30 am with rounds 29 and 30. Everyone has the same tee time.

If successful, we may want to consider this for next year Rounds 23-30, as thats when Yahoo page will likely be up and people start lagging big time with their picks. Id love to give it a try this year. Hope the Commish and others agree.

this plan ensures that we can focus our baseball related attentions to Spring Training when Pitchers and Catchers report in just 4 DAYS!

This seems reasonable to me.

This was a good idea however a thought for next year...

Maybe chop it down to 26 rounds. I feel like there was genuine interest until the 23rd round and then it completely fell off.

Was there anyone at all picked up off of waivers last year? I can't remember a move I've made in this league that has amounted to anything.

I picked up Soler, Carrasco and Worley last year. Alas they weren't enough to overcome the losses of Darvish and Tanaka
