A forever underrated player, just two years removed from a 100 run season. I like this pick.

Buyer beware, I loved his value last year and he responded with an overall underwhelming season. With that said, I cant disagree it is great value at this point in the draft and a chance well worth taking. Good pick Knight.

Thanks. If I can get 70/12/70/5/.280 out of him at this point in the draft I'll be quite pleased. I sat here thinking, please god don't force me to take Ohlendorf. There's got to be somebody else out there...

Then:

19.9 Happy Halladays via text select Ross Ohlendorf, SP, Pit

Classic.

Welcome to the team Brett!!!!

What's with all the prospects being drafted? I understand it's getting thin out there, but most of these guys will play half of the season at best.

Yeah. That's why I'm filling my team with broke down veterans who will also play half a season at best.

I can't believe I'm not getting wild, unadulterated praise for getting Bud Norris at pick 378.

Have fun with his 1.5 whip. yeah he'll get K's but man, that's a high WHIP.

Yeah. It was a little better in his 120 innings in the minors but you're absolutely right. Actually he went at 240something in the ESPN "experts" draft and I'm not really capable of original thought.

Great pick with Ryan -- lots of positions and will put up solid numbers. I was hoping he would fall to me. I'm open to trades for him if you're interested

By that logic John Lannan and Zach Duke are great picks right now.....Hmmmmm, almost my pick. But then again I though Niemann was still sitting out there.

I can't believe how many productive everyday players are being passed over for guys who won't play until September, if at all. Some teams are going to use up those 20 transactions real quick.

See, you're not congratulating me. This isn't what I was looking for.

Kidding.

Although, if he's equal to Pelfrey in ERA and Wins (arguable IMO) don't you take the extra 70 K's for the .1 WHIP hit? 3 rounds later?

Just a thought. Feel free to pull this thread up when Norris starts the season in the minors.
