Just an FYI, he's not eligible at 3b. You drafted a 1b/OF.

Thanks--I'm nervous about the second-year pitchers, but he seems to be the real deal.

I was going to take him last round but I thought he would last. He would have been my pick as well this round.

Happy Halladays does not have pick 10.12 to trade away. The pick was traded to Scrantonicity in the Adam Lind trade. Try again.
I can't for the life of me figure out how your multi-colored eye chart works.

http://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key= ... IWXc&hl=en

Why not leave it as they drafted, put a 'traded' row down below showing who moved where, and create rows beneath current row to show multiple draft choices when somebody picks twice in a round due to a traded pick.

The players have been left as drafted aside from where Jimmy Rollins was traded from his new team. The color coding denotes each trade. Feel free to come up with your own spreadsheet and post it on here if you'd like. It's not my fault a select few are not satisfied with their draft positions and cause confusion on the draft board.

Just to go on the record while we sort this out- trading is fun & trying to keep track of what picks are traded where, when and to whom is not. I'm guilty as charged in terms of trying to navigate the draft and make moves to improve my teams overall standing. Sorry Commish.

It's a great pick assuming you can find another 3rd basemen to sub him for him for 1/3 of of the year. Those 400 at bats he provides will be gems.

Per request, spreadsheet has been updated so that it's easier to read. Let me know if I missed a trade.

You know, I was looking at your team and I realized that no one told you that there are other players than just the ones on the Cubs. You can draft other players too.

Just in case you haven't subscribed to "The Draft" thread, I would definitely recommend it. You'll find the option at the bottom of the page when you're reading the thread. Once a post has been made, you'll receive an e-mail; sign in, get caught up, you'll receive another e-mail once there's been another pick.

It could only help us all speed up what has already been a pretty steady pace. Thanks.

Here's to hoping he earns the everyday job and doesn't have to split time with David Murphy.
